Live For Today.

While Stephen's dressing for Homecoming, Cara teleports into his room, apparently at his request. He's taken aback by her -- her boobs, all right. No, actually, I don't want to demean her. She is striking (although I'd still lighten up on the eye shadow). Stephen is surprised John's not going out with her, especially when she looks so hot. "The guy's hardcore." Stephen tells her about Mr. Big. "He tried to get in my head. [...] I tried [to block him, telepathically]. What if he found out I'm helping you?" Cara says it sounds like John is the one getting in Stephen's head. Stephen is worried about the SUPES' outing, tonight. "If Jedikiah gets his hands on you, again..." Realizing how that sounds, Stephen falters then adds, "...on any of you guys?" Cara says she can sense Ultra coming a mile away. If that happens, the SUPES will teleport out of the party. "And in case you haven't noticed, I'm kind of a badass." Oh Cara, don't tease the boy. There's nothing about you he hasn't noticed. She pulls out a pocket square and tucks it in his suit coat pocket. "I thought it would look good on you." Cara, the boy is 17. Looking at linoleum makes him want to have sex. You can't act like that with him. Maybe she can telepathically perceive my warning, because she teleports out of there, leaving Stephen to catch his breath, and heave a sigh of relief that he didn't telekinetically cop a feel.

At the club, the SUPES try to blend. Irene is twerking which is fifty shades of wrong (and I never again want to type those letters in that order, show). Russell sets his sights on a brunette in a red dress. I don't know why, but she looks shady to me. Cara is looking around at her friends -- her species -- when John appears behind her and asks if she wants to dance. He's wearing the suit she nicked for him, and she tells him he is wearing it. Yeah, he is. As they dance, she wonders why he's the only person she can't read. John reminds her that this night is about acting like a normal couple.

There's a knock on Stephen's door. He assumes it's Astrid, and that she's early, but it's Uncle Jed, who says Stephen must come with him. Stephen says he can't, but Jed insists. Stephen, you need to take a page out of Buffy's book, get yourself a pager and tell all these people, "If the apocalypse comes, beep me."
